Our dream was a slate roof. We just weren’t sure if it could be installed on an existing home since the walls and foundation were not originally designed for such weight. However, Roofing & Siding of Cape Cod did all the calculations and said that the house is new, so it can handle the added load well. Now we’re enjoying our slate roof. By the way, the first storm went great — nothing was damaged.
