Project - GAF Timberline HDZ Roof Replacement in East Falmouth, MA

This ranch-style home in East Falmouth gave us a clean, single-slope layout to work with — but at 3,000 sq ft, there was nothing small about the job. The homeowner wanted a dependable upgrade that would last, and GAF Timberline HDZ in Pewter Grey was the right call. The color works perfectly against the light gray vinyl siding, giving the house a polished, cohesive look without going too dark.

The in-progress photo tells the story of how we run a job site. Grace Ice & Water Shield was run along all eaves before anything else went down — critical for a Massachusetts home where ice dams are a real concern. From there, GAF Deck-Armor synthetic underlayment went across the full field of the roof. Shingle bundles were staged evenly across the deck so the crew could maintain a steady pace without unnecessary trips up and down the ladder.

The after shot is what we’re most proud of. Clean lines, consistent coursing, and a finished ridge that runs straight from end to end. The attached garage roof was tied in seamlessly. No visible transitions, no shortcuts on the details.

Project investment came in at $19,000–$21,000 for a complete tear-off and replacement.
